Legend of Bone Hill
The legend of bone hill took place in Levasy Missouri. This story was during the Civil war. The slaves had to build a stone fence so farmers could bury their gold and sell it when someone wanted to buy some. The farming family moved away and told their neighbors they would be back in seven years but were never seen again. There was a special light that puffed up like a glow by the Stone Wall that got the neighbors attention. It appeared every seven years. People think it’s the ghost of the farmer trying to claim the buried fortune. The neighbors noticed every time the light was on, off or just flicked. So they called it the ‘’seven year glimmer’’.
